Job Opportunity: Experienced AV Field Service Engineer
Our client is a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships worldwide. We have an immediate requirement for an experienced AV Field Service Engineer to join our Field Engineering team. This role involves maintaining high levels of customer service through onsite attendance and remote technical support. Due to the nature of our support services, these areas are subject to tight SLA’s and KPI’s.
You will develop and sustain excellent customer relations while providing first-class technical support for immediate fault resolution. You will be responsible for ensuring fault resolution meets client satisfaction and upholding the commercial impact of the account. You will also manage and timely update fault tickets.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced AV Field Service Engineer to join an established operation with the scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity. Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected in the remuneration and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform field service engineering work as required.
- Provide onsite service engineering covering client sites as needed.
- Travel to client sites, including potential European travel.
- Coordinate and support site events.
- Conduct preventative maintenance calls as needed.
- Rotate among client sites as required.
- Conduct site surveys.
- Perform small works installations, including client handover.
- Work on a rotational shift basis as required.
- Complete necessary administration to support the engineering role.

- Able to manage client communications and escalations effectively.
- Remain calm under pressure.
- Take responsibility and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
