Job Title: AV Engineer
Overview:
We are a provider of audio-visual solutions specializing in the retail, corporate, and leisure sectors. As an AV Engineer, you will play a key role in the preparation, installation, and commissioning of projects across the UK, ensuring quality and seamless execution. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining AV systems under various service level agreements (SLAs).This role involves working collaboratively within a team, sharing knowledge and expertise, solving problems under pressure, and communicating effectively with clients on-site.
Core Areas of Expertise:
- Projection
- Video walls
- Internal and external LED displays (including Novastar)
- Digital signage solutions
- Audio systems
- CMS software
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate faults, remove, repair, test, and implement AV systems.
- Maintain a flexible approach to work and meet tight deadlines.
- Deliver work to the highest standards expected by clients.
- Keep accurate records of work performed.
- Proactively suggest improvements in products, techniques, and methods.
- Communicate professionally and knowledgeably with clients.
- Report to the Operations Manager while maintaining direct communication with Project Managers.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong IT and network skills.
- Technical expertise and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused, with a strong understanding of client needs and expectations.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Leadership skills to supervise and guide colleagues effectively.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the AV industry, ideally within the areas mentioned.
- Willingness to travel and work away from home as required.
- Full clean driving license.
