Job Opportunity: Senior Events and AV Engineering Lead (London-based)
our client a leading global audio visual integrator, providing AV and event services across multiple client partnerships worldwide. We have an immediate requirement for an experienced Senior Events and AV Engineering Lead to join our London team for an initial 6-month assignment, representing and working onsite at a leading Global Bank.
This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional, experienced individual to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity. Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected in the remuneration and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quickly gain and develop a full technical understanding of the new Events spaces.
- Train EAAS staff, ensuring the team are proficient and have no technical knowledge gaps in the support and maintenance of the Events space and integration.
- Support the team as needed as SME of the space/s.
- Provide levels 1, 2, and 3 technical live events support and troubleshooting of these spaces, working in collaboration with supporting departments.
- Support the development of the Events Spaces and highlight snags, outstanding issues, and key improvement recommendations.
- Complete a run book for the events spaces documenting SOPs, disaster recovery documentation, and RMA process for the inventory.
- Manage incidents, track to resolution with supporting teams, ensuring clients and onsite personnel are regularly updated.
- Develop strong relationships with our client teams and supporting staff.
- Ensure excellent customer service at VIP and Stakeholder level, maintaining dress code standards.
- Act as a key decision-maker and escalation contact in the event of incidents or failures.
- Implement standard operating procedures, identifying areas of improvement in workflows.
- Represent professionally when liaising with senior executives, both face to face and via telephone.
