Job Opportunity: System Programmer

An opportunity has arisen to join our clients Programming team who a leading global audio visual integrator providing services across multiple client partnerships worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop control software and touch panel designs for assigned projects.
  • Ensure designs, equipment, and control software meet project specifications.
  • Attend site meetings with clients/consultants to discuss programming, touch panel designs, and networking requirements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and assist them as needed.
  • Test systems in the production facility and attend witness tests with clients/consultants.
  • Read system schematics and consultants' specifications before commencing work.
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and according to specifications.
  • Take full responsibility for project programming, ensuring completion to the client's satisfaction.
  • Conduct system tests and pre-programming activities to meet functional specifications.
  • Assist in commissioning systems at client sites.
  • Effectively communicate programming needs to other departments.
  • Prepare training documentation and operation manuals as needed.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the immediate manager.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with clients and co-workers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and quick learner.
  • Proficient with computers and standard office programs.
  • Understanding of A/V systems, signal flow, and components.
  • Construction and installation experience preferred.
  • Professional presentation skills.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in A/V control system program creation.
  • Experience with audio DSP device programming.
  • Willingness to attend training for certifications as required.
  • Travel required for project-related activities.
