Job Title: Lead Installation Engineer (Audio Visual)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Installation Engineer to join our growing team. As a leader in the Audio Visual (AV) sector, you will oversee the installation, commissioning, and delivery of AV systems across high-end residential, commercial, and corporate projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AV systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead the installation of AV systems, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and system design plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior engineers and subcontractors on-site.
• Install, configure, and test AV equipment, including displays, projectors, sound systems, control systems, and networking components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during and after installation.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, health and safety regulations, and client requirements.
• Conduct client handovers and provide training on system operation when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, including documentation of system configurations and updates.
• Stay updated on the latest AV technologies, products, and industry trends.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as an AV Installation Engineer, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems, including control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, or Control4), video conferencing solutions, and sound systems.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring AV equipment, including cabling, racks, and power management.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and team members.
• Relevant certifications in AV systems (e.g., CTS, CTS-D, or manufacturer-specific training) are highly desirable.
• Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
